The ball boot Hófur in the SPECIAL EDITION “ICELAND” – is characterized by its low weight (M=60g). It protects the balls of the front feet during training without having too much influence on the horse’s movement due to its weight. The ball of foot boots are ideal for training or on horseback rides – the boots are worth their weight in gold, especially for horses that tend to step on their front hooves – because they also protect the horseshoes from being worn down.
The material is dirt-repellent and water-resistant and can be closed carefully and reliably with the double Velcro fastener. The inside of the boots is padded with neoprene, as is the upper edge, which prevents chafing in the ankle bend. A small wedge sewn into the back prevents the boots from slipping and gives them their name!
